About the role
We are partnering with a warm, community‑focused primary school in Hemel Hempstead to recruit an enthusiastic Reception Teacher for the EYFS team starting September 2026. You will lead a lively Reception class, delivering play‑based learning that nurtures each child’s early development.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based lessons aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff to ensure smooth transitions into school.
- Use observation and assessment tools to monitor developmental milestones.
- Collaborate closely with the EYFS Leader and a teaching assistant.
- Create a warm, stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued.
