About the role
Join an inclusive primary school in Lambeth as a Reception Teacher, delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to children beginning their formal education. This full‑time, temporary position starts in September and offers the chance to shape young learners in a supportive, child‑centred environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons in line with statutory guidelines.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to monitor and support pupil progress.
- Maintain accurate records of each child’s development and assessment outcomes.
- Assist with the transition of children into Reception and prepare them for Key Stage 1.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Early Years, preferably within a Reception setting.
- A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education.
