Reception Teacher (Full-Time)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Reception Teacher to join our school in Chatham from January 2027. This full‑time role involves delivering high‑quality early years education within the EYFS framework and creating a supportive environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver teaching and learning aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Create a stimulating, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional and academic development.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and carers.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven knowledge and experience of the EYFS framework.
• Experience delivering or supporting Read Write Inc phonics.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
