Reception Teacher

About the role

Our welcoming primary school in West Drayton is looking for a dedicated Reception Teacher to join the team from September 2026 on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will help early learners build strong foundations in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a nurturing, inclusive classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Support children in developing early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe, assess and track pupil progress against EYFS expectations.
• Build positive partnerships with families and collaborate with colleagues on shared planning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in EYFS or Reception.
• Strong understanding of early years curriculum and child development.
• Commitment to effective communication and professional collaboration.
