Reconciliation and Reporting Analyst

About the role

This is a hybrid, contract‑to‑March 2027 position supporting a major Japanese‑owned financial institution. You will work 2‑3 days a week in the London office and the rest remotely, providing limit‑control and reporting services for front‑office teams across EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update derivative, money‑market and loan limits on the GGS system.
• Support trade‑finance limit management and ensure all limits align with credit approvals.
• Produce accurate daily reports of limit excesses and escalate issues for resolution.
• Perform reconciliations across multiple banking systems to verify transactions meet approved conditions.
• Input limits for foreign‑exchange, money‑market and overdraft products into booking systems.
• Review and keep internal procedures up to date.
• Promote a control culture and ensure all transactions are captured correctly.

Required profile

• Experience in limit control, reconciliation or related finance operations.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt priorities on short notice while maintaining quality.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment with occasional out‑of‑hours requirements.
