About the role

We are seeking a Recorder to join our logistics and distribution team at a leading biscuit manufacturer. The role combines hands‑on product handling with accurate administrative record‑keeping to ensure finished goods are safely prepared for transport.

Key responsibilities

• Build pallets of finished product according to specifications for safe transport.
• Complete production paperwork for each shift, recording outputs accurately.
• Open, check, and re‑package rejected products in line with quality standards.
• Maintain clean‑as‑you‑go housekeeping on the packing floor.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and act on product quality or pallet‑building issues.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail for record‑keeping and product handling.
• Physical ability to lift and stack products in a demanding environment.
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks during a shift.
• Team‑oriented with clear communication.
• Problem‑solving mindset when dealing with rejected or damaged goods.

Required skills

• Basic literacy and numeracy for accurate documentation.
• Familiarity with pallet building and packing processes.
• Experience with quality control procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, or production recording is advantageous.
