Recoveries Executive

About the role

Join a leading independent provider of Invoice Finance in the North West as a Recoveries Executive. You will manage a mixed portfolio of commercial client accounts, working closely with internal teams and external legal partners to recover outstanding debts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of collect‑out clients professionally and tenaciously, engaging third‑party law firms or agents when required.
• Use the Riskfactor system (or its future replacement) consistently to track recoveries strategy, progress, and timelines.
• Prepare and submit collect‑out and bad‑debt provision reports for internal commercial business units, obtaining necessary approvals.
• Recover indebtedness by pursuing securities, sales ledger entries, initiating legal proceedings, or instructing solicitors.
• Collaborate with the Risk Manager to review bad‑debt provisions of £25k or greater, using the prescribed reporting format.

Required profile

• Professional and tenacious attitude towards debt recovery.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders and external legal partners.
• Familiarity with risk management systems such as Riskfactor.
• Strong analytical skills for reporting and provision reviews.
