Recovery and Housing Manager – Supported Housing Service

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Recovery and Housing Manager to lead a busy supported housing service in East Molesey. The role involves overseeing day‑to‑day operations, supporting a team of Recovery Workers and an Administrator, and ensuring people with mental health needs receive safe, high‑quality, recovery‑focused support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the daily delivery of a supported housing service, meeting contractual and quality standards.
• Manage, motivate and develop a team of five Recovery Workers and one Administrator through supervision and coaching.
• Ensure high‑quality assessments, support planning and recovery‑focused interventions are provided.
• Monitor service performance, compliance and targets, using data to drive improvements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals and partner organisations.
• Manage resources effectively and support continuous service improvement.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety and inclusive practice across the service.

Required profile

• Experience working within supported housing, housing services or a similar environment.
• Previous management experience or significant experience leading teams, projects or service development.
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make confident operational decisions.
• Good understanding of safeguarding, quality standards and performance management.
