Recovery Support Worker

About the role
Join Creative Support’s Dual Diagnosis service in Blackpool as a Recovery Support Worker, providing compassionate assistance to individuals with mental health challenges, substance misuse, complex needs, and offending histories.
Key responsibilities
- Prompt and oversee medication administration.
- Assist with domestic living tasks.
- Maintain records and write support plans for service users.
- Help individuals access services that improve physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
- Work flexibly across daytimes, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, including lone working and possible sleep‑in shifts.
Required profile
- Positive, empathetic attitude toward service users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in community‑based services is desirable.
- Driving ability is preferred.
