Recruiting Coordinator

About the role

Odyssey, an AI lab building general‑purpose world models, is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support its rapid growth. This people‑and‑operations role sits at the intersection of talent acquisition, leadership support, and internal logistics, ensuring a smooth hiring experience and efficient day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule interviews across teams and time zones, acting as the primary point of contact for candidates.
• Coordinate interview logistics, including virtual setups, in‑person meetings, and candidate travel.
• Maintain ATS hygiene, manage recruitment workflows, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Partner with hiring managers to refine recruiting processes and coordination systems.
• Provide calendar management, travel booking, and expense support for founders and leadership.
• Organise team events, offsites, and special projects, and assist with onboarding new hires.
• Document internal processes and run lightweight people‑operations programs.
• Handle ad‑hoc high‑priority tasks typical of a fast‑moving startup.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast‑paced environments.
• Proactive problem‑solver with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and customer‑relationship tools.
• Familiarity with project‑management and collaboration platforms such as Ashby, Attio, Notion, and Linear.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools and calendar/email systems.
