Recruitment Advisor

About the role

As a Recruitment Advisor within the Talent Attraction Team, you will partner with hiring managers across Trafford & Stockport College Group to deliver a professional, candidate‑focused recruitment service. You will shape attraction strategies, support employer branding, and ensure a diverse pipeline of high‑quality talent for the college’s educational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for multiple vacancies, from approval to onboarding.
• Provide expert advice on recruitment best practice and employment legislation.
• Develop and execute attraction strategies, talent pipelining and recruitment marketing initiatives.
• Support hiring managers throughout interview processes and selection decisions.
• Analyse recruitment data, produce insights and drive continuous improvement.
• Represent the college at careers events and promote employer branding.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end recruitment in an in‑house or talent‑acquisition environment.
• Strong partnership skills with hiring managers and ability to influence decisions.
• Excellent organisational ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Solid understanding of recruitment best practice, relevant legislation and inclusive hiring.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills at all stakeholder levels.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics.

Required skills

• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR information systems.
