Recruitment Consultant – Business Support (Permanent)

About the role

Reed is seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join its Stratford office, focusing on permanent Business Support recruitment across Stratford and surrounding areas. You will build a specialist desk, develop long‑term client partnerships and match talented professionals with rewarding career opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with businesses in the Stratford region.
• Generate new business opportunities and expand existing client accounts.
• Take detailed job briefs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
• Source, attract and engage high‑calibre Business Support candidates.
• Manage the full permanent recruitment cycle from vacancy to placement.
• Conduct candidate interviews and provide consultative support throughout hiring.
• Complete compliance checks, including right‑to‑work and references.
• Ensure an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates.

Required profile

• Previous agency recruitment experience, preferably within Business Support or a related professional services sector.
• Strong business development and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confident communicator who enjoys creating lasting partnerships.
• Driven, resilient and motivated to succeed in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
