About the role

Robert Half is seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join its Edinburgh team. You will own the full 360° recruitment cycle, from sourcing new business opportunities to placing high‑calibre candidates in roles that match their career aspirations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new client relationships across target markets.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and placement.
• Utilise job boards, social media, and professional networks to attract top talent.
• Provide strategic advice to clients and candidates, acting as a trusted recruitment partner.
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and continuously improve recruitment strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or customer‑service roles with a strong track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Resilient, tenacious and goal‑oriented, with a competitive mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment and adapt quickly to change.
