Recruitment Consultant – Education

About the role

Reed Education is expanding its presence in Gloucestershire and is looking for a full‑time Recruitment Consultant to join the team in Cheltenham. You will work within a market‑leading organisation, backed by Reed’s extensive infrastructure and reputation, to place high‑quality education professionals in schools and other education providers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges and candidates.
• Develop and manage your own recruitment desk, from prospecting to placement.
• Source, interview, assess and match candidates to education roles.
• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a consultative service aligned with Reed’s values.
• Deliver high‑quality service while meeting commercial targets.

Required profile

• Ambitious, proactive and motivated by success.
• Confident in building long‑term relationships.
• Commercially aware with a consultative approach.
• Interest in a long‑term career in recruitment.
• Previous experience in recruitment, sales, account management or relationship‑driven roles; education sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
