Recruitment Consultant – Education (£28k‑£42k) + Uncapped Commission

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join The Education Network’s Edgbaston office, supporting schools across the West Midlands. The role is 360‑based, allowing you to manage both client and candidate relationships while delivering a boutique‑level service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a desk focused on SEND, secondary or primary education placements.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with schools, teaching staff and support personnel.
• Recruit and place high‑quality teaching assistants and teachers in temporary and permanent roles.
• Develop new business through networking, candidate attraction and client acquisition.
• Uphold The Education Network’s values of transparency, integrity and community impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment (education, healthcare or commercial sectors).
• Genuine passion for making a difference for schools and candidates.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
• Proactive, target‑driven and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
