Recruitment Consultant – Further Education (Senior)

About the role

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant to join Reed Specialist Recruitment’s Further Education division in Manchester. You will own a 360 recruitment desk, focusing on colleges, sixth forms, training providers and prison education providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle from business development to placement.
• Proactively win new clients and grow the desk within the Further Education sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with colleges, sixth forms, training and prison education providers.
• Source and attract candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn, CV Library, Indeed and Reed’s internal database.
• Write and post job adverts, screen candidates, conduct interviews and manage client expectations.
• Achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recruitment (agency or in‑house).
• Strong business development and sales experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LinkedIn.
• Experience using CV Library.
• Experience using Indeed.

• Competitive salary £26,000‑£34,000 per year plus uncapped commission.
