About the role

Reed is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to lead its Marketing & Creative desk covering Bristol and the South West. The role combines business development with full‑cycle recruitment, allowing you to build a specialist portfolio while benefiting from Reed’s brand and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow an independent Marketing & Creative recruitment desk.
• Generate new business opportunities across Bristol and the wider South West.
• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from client acquisition to candidate placement.
• Source, engage and place high‑quality marketing, digital and creative professionals.
• Develop long‑term relationships with both clients and candidates.
• Collaborate with an experienced consultant to maximise market coverage.
• Become a trusted recruitment partner within the chosen specialism.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience in any sector.
• Proven business development or sales experience.
• Consultative approach with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Confidence, resilience and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
• Interest in marketing, digital or creative markets is advantageous.
