Recruitment Consultant – Sales‑Driven Role

About the role

We are expanding our central Client Services team in Chester and are looking for a sales‑driven Recruitment Consultant. The successful candidate will manage an established desk covering both temporary and permanent recruitment, delivering high‑quality service to clients and candidates while driving new business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing client accounts, overseeing the temporary workforce and ensuring service excellence.
• Generate new business through high‑volume cold calling, sales visits and relationship building with prospective clients.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for both temporary and permanent positions.
• Meet and exceed sales targets in a fast‑paced, commission‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, in B2B sales or a similar recruitment setting.
• Strong, confident personality with resilience and a hunger to succeed.
• Tech‑savvy with excellent administrative and communication abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to commute from Chester, Deeside, Wirral, Wrexham, Rhyl, Flint, Crewe or Nantwich.

What we offer

• Salary £26,000‑£30,000 per annum (DOE) plus uncapped commission.
• Permanent contract, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑17:30, every second Friday off.
