Recruitment Coordinator – Apprenticeships

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Recruitment Coordinator to join our Apprenticeship Division. Based in Manchester with a hybrid working model, you will own the end‑to‑end candidate journey, from attraction through onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for both apprentices and employer partners.

Key responsibilities

• Source and attract candidates via job boards, events, outreach and online channels.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for current and future apprenticeship roles.
• Respond promptly to enquiries, provide clear guidance on roles, eligibility and processes.
• Screen applicants against role requirements, eligibility criteria and apprenticeship readiness.
• Manage applications through each recruitment stage, producing high‑quality shortlists aligned to employer needs.
• Prepare candidates for interviews, support them through offers and onboarding.
• Utilise Zoho Recruit and other CRM/ATS tools to track progress and generate reports.
• Monitor recruitment metrics, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to meet targets.
• Maintain compliance with safeguarding, funding and data protection requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, candidate engagement or a similar talent‑acquisition role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of applications while meeting targets.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organised with a results‑driven mindset.
• Understanding of apprenticeship programmes and related compliance.

Required skills

• Zoho Recruit (CRM/ATS) proficiency.

• Competitive salary £30,000‑£32,000 per year, dependent on experience.
