Recruitment Director – Insurance Sector

About the role

Davies Group is seeking a Recruitment Director to lead the growth and delivery of specialist services recruitment for insurance clients. You will own end‑to‑end executive search, contingent hiring, high‑volume and MSP projects, driving performance and revenue across the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver revenue growth, originate new propositions and expand senior client relationships.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of retained and contingent specialist recruitment assignments, ensuring high‑quality candidate pipelines.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing recruitment team, setting clear performance expectations.
• Act as a trusted advisor on hiring strategy, market insight and talent mapping for C‑suite stakeholders.
• Manage pricing, deal structuring and commercial models while maintaining strong profit margins.
• Integrate recruitment capabilities with broader Davies Consulting services and support cross‑sell opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior and specialist recruitment/executive search within the insurance industry.
• Track record of revenue generation through business development and client expansion.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage deals autonomously (360° responsibility).
• Experience operating at C‑suite level and delivering strategic hiring advice.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high‑performing teams.
