Referral Technician - General Insurance

About the role

Everywhen, the UK-based broking and advisory arm of the Ardonagh Group, is recruiting a Referral Technician for its Colchester office. The role sits in the General Insurance department and involves handling referrals and supporting underwriting work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound referrals for new and existing business according to delegated authority binders.
• Maintain SLAs on offline workflows, diaries and inboxes so underwriting-related work is completed within the required timeframe.
• Complete referrals to insurers where the risk is outside the agreed authority limits.
• Support management and delivery of insurer and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Knowledge of the insurance market, the company's products and general insurance regulation and business ethics.
• Ability to prioritise your own workload and help the team manage theirs.
• Team player who enjoys supporting colleagues, with attention to detail, quick learning and a positive attitude.
