Refrigeration Service Engineer

About the role

This is a field‑based position for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer supporting commercial customers across the M25 corridor. Based in Milton Keynes, you will travel daily to a variety of sites, handling both planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment, including cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers and freezers.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance visits across customer sites.
• Diagnose faults quickly and execute effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Complete service reports using digital reporting systems.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and F‑Gas regulations.
• Participate in an on‑call rota and attend emergency call‑outs when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Service Engineer.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• Valid F‑Gas Certification, R290 qualification and CO qualification.
• CSCS Card and full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively around the M25 corridor.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
