Regional Development Officer - Fundraising

About the role

The Talent Set is partnering with a leading charity to recruit a Regional Development Officer focused on fundraising. You will design and execute region‑specific growth strategies, build relationships with supporters, volunteers and partners, and raise the organisation’s profile across Glasgow and the wider Scottish region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an insight‑driven regional growth plan targeting income generation, supporter engagement and visibility.
• Identify, cultivate and convert prospective donors, volunteers and partners into active contributors.
• Collaborate with volunteer networks to organise local events, talks and community outreach activities.
• Represent the charity in schools, churches, community groups and other local networks.
• Deliver presentations, organise visits and participate in regional activities to increase awareness.
• Adapt national campaigns for regional audiences and share local success stories.
• Maintain accurate supporter records in CRM systems and analyse data to refine strategies.
• Manage local budgets and report insights and opportunities to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in fundraising, community engagement or supporter development.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives.
• Confident public speaking and presentation skills.
• Data literacy with the ability to interpret insights.
• Self‑motivated with high autonomy and collaborative teamwork.
• Creative problem‑solving and proactive growth mindset.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site across the designated region.
