Regional Finance Manager

About the role

This position is with a leading multi‑academy educational trust, based in West London. The Regional Finance Manager will act as a strategic partner to school principals and senior staff, delivering high‑quality financial services across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with principals and senior leaders to manage budgets, ensure compliance and support strategic decisions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, cash‑flow forecasts, control‑account reconciliations and annual budgets/re‑forecasts.
• Lead, mentor and develop local finance staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives that enhance value for money and financial standards.
• Oversee payment runs, payroll and all accounting procedures to meet trust policies.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or finalist of ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Proven experience in managing administrative and financial systems.
• Strong management accounting background.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

What we offer

• Permanent, full‑time contract (37.5 hours per week).
