Regional Health & Safety Consultant

About the role

Citation, a UK provider of Health & Safety, HR, Employment Law and ISO services, is recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Consultant for its regional field-based team. The role is full time, based in various locations in the UK, and requires a driving licence as the consultant visits clients. You will work with key stakeholders and teams across the business, helping clients protect their people through a culture of best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately identify client requirements
• Prepare and install client H&S policy documentation
• Undertake client training when needed
• Advise clients on standards and best practice affecting their business
• Provide ongoing support to meet the changing needs of the client base through strong relationship management
• Ensure contingency for changes in legislation and agreed or requested amendments to client documentation

Required profile

• Minimum of NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent experience
• Ideal candidate is Grad IOSH or working towards Chartered status; experience-only qualified candidates are also considered
• Background in a consultancy role or mostly internal roles suits the role
• Experience across the sectors served by the clients is not required
