Regional HR Advisor

About the role

This home‑based position supports operational teams across Bolton, Birmingham and Sunderland, with Bolton as the office base. You will provide proactive HR advice on employee relations, performance management, organisational change, recruitment and people development while travelling 3‑4 days a week, including occasional overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR advisory support to operational managers.
• Guide managers through employee‑relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management.
• Deliver HR training and coaching to managers.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and talent‑development initiatives.
• Analyse people data and identify trends to inform business decisions.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor or equivalent generalist role in a commercial, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong employee‑relations experience is essential.
• Comfortable supporting multiple sites and travelling extensively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to prioritise effectively.
• CIPD qualification or working towards one (desirable).
