Regional Operations Manager (HVAC)

About the role

The Regional Operations Manager (HVAC) will lead engineering operations across the assigned region, overseeing depot teams, field engineers and driver installers. Reporting to the UK Operations Director, the role is based onsite in Andover five days a week and focuses on operational efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deployment of installations, maintenance and de‑installations for field engineers; monitor Right First Time performance and support complex projects.
• Manage depot operations, asset tracking and driver deployment while maintaining high depot standards.
• Develop Personal Development Plans, conduct audits, coach teams and embed company values.
• Ensure staff have correct equipment, PPE, training and certifications; recruit, retain and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Senior‑level operations management experience in engineering, hire or B2B environments, preferably with HVAC exposure.
• Relevant technical qualifications such as Gas Safe, OFTEC, F‑Gas, 18th Edition, COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, COCNPI1LS, ICPN1, ICAE1.
• Strong people‑management skills with experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency in IT systems for operational management, reporting and analysis.
