Regional Restraint and Violence Reduction Instructor

About the role

Join Cygnet’s Learning & Development team as a Regional Restraint and Violence Reduction Instructor. You will travel across the London and Kent region delivering specialised Physical Interventions training to staff in a variety of services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the West London NHS Restraint Reduction Pathway (PMVA) to diverse audiences.
• Lead and facilitate physical interventions training programmes on site.
• Ensure training aligns with Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards.
• Maintain records of training delivery and participant progress.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of clinical experience using restrictive physical interventions.
• Qualified Physical Intervention Instructor capable of delivering the PMVA pathway.
• Level 1 instructor status or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards.
• Proven experience in leading and delivering training programmes.
• Relevant instructor qualifications and professional credentials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
