Regional Sales Account Manager

About the role

Halfords Commercial Fleet Services is looking for a Regional Sales Account Manager to lead a portfolio of existing and new commercial vehicle customers across the North‑West region. This field‑based role offers real autonomy, allowing you to plan visits, understand client businesses and identify growth opportunities while representing the Halfords brand 24/7.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with existing and prospective customers across Carnforth, Preston, Blackburn, Rochdale, Salford, Deeside and Gaerwen.
• Manage accounts to improve profitability, customer satisfaction and contract renewal rates.
• Plan and execute regular site visits, negotiate pricing and service terms, and support invoicing and credit‑control processes.
• Collaborate with depot managers, regional teams and local Operations to ensure service level agreements are met and continuously improve the customer proposition.
• Promote Halfords Commercial Fleet Services through networking, market engagement and sales activities, acting as an ambassador for CFS values.

Required profile

• Strong commercial awareness of the commercial vehicle tyre market.
• Proven ability to build and grow B2B relationships.
• Motivation to meet and exceed sales targets and grow accounts over time.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a field‑based environment.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on delivering tangible commercial outcomes.
