Regional Senior Care Assistant

About the role
As a Regional Senior Care Assistant you will provide warm, empathetic and respectful care to residents across a 20‑mile radius, helping them enjoy a high quality of life. You will work from a base in Wells, travelling to sites in Weston‑Super‑Mare, South Bristol and Bath on mixed day and night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and deliver high‑quality care during each shift.
- Contribute to person‑centred care planning for every resident.
- Record vital observations such as temperature and blood pressure.
- Provide companionship and one‑to‑one support to residents.
- Travel between care homes, covering mileage beyond five miles from home.
Required profile
- Previous experience in elderly care.
- Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (essential).
- Good understanding of the wider healthcare sector.
- Reliable transport – own car or ready access to one.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, person‑focused care.
Required skills
- Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care.
- Medication administration training (preferred).
- Ability to travel across the region using a vehicle.
