Regional Trainer – Adult Social Care

About the role

Sanctuary Care is looking for a Regional Trainer to design, deliver and evaluate training programmes for staff across its Cornwall homes. You will shape learning solutions that support person‑centred care and help the organisation maintain its award‑winning standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify learning needs within adult social care settings and develop tailored training plans.
• Design and deliver blended learning sessions using e‑learning, face‑to‑face workshops and on‑site observation.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, observation and performance metrics.
• Provide ongoing skills development for staff across a cluster of homes/services in the Northwest region.
• Travel frequently across the region, maintaining a full, current driving licence.

Required profile

• Experience working in adult social care and within the regulatory framework.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote‑managed team.
• Flexibility to travel overnight and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Certificate in teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector or CIPD certificate in training practice (or equivalent recent experience).
• Proficient computer skills for creating and managing training materials.

What we offer

• Salary of £33,397 per annum plus a car allowance of £7,703.53.
• 25 days annual leave (pro‑rata, rising to 30 with bank holidays).
