Regional Travel Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking a results‑focused travel industry professional to join a leading tour operator as a Regional Travel Sales Manager covering the South of England. The role involves maintaining and growing sales of the client’s products to UK travel agents, building on existing relationships and creating new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key agents and suppliers.
• Arrange regular meetings with agents throughout the region.
• Create and follow a monthly call plan to maximise productivity.
• Develop a personal database of agents and send targeted communications.
• Identify and implement new ways to grow business in the region.
• Lead overseas FAM trips and represent the company at conferences and networking events.
• Collaborate with commercial partners to design deals and promotional plans.
• Review and analyse sales figures, devising actions for under‑performing accounts.
• Plan and support local marketing activities such as product launches and events.
• Assist the marketing team and monitor market and competitor activity.
• Deliver presentations to agents and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in the travel industry.
• Proven field‑sales experience.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to develop new business opportunities.
• Confident presenter with analytical capabilities.
