Registered Manager – Children’s Home

About the role

Area Camden is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 3‑bed children’s home in London. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality care to young people aged 9‑17 with complex emotional and behavioural needs, while ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the children’s home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Lead, mentor and supervise staff, fostering a culture of reflective practice and professional development.
• Develop and implement care plans in partnership with external professionals and partner agencies.
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
• Manage budgets, resources and administrative duties associated with the home.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of management experience in a children’s residential setting.
• Strong background supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with external agencies.
• Commitment to high standards of care and continuous improvement.
