Registered Manager – Children’s Home

About the role

The Registered Manager will lead an 8‑bed children’s home, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement and champion the holistic, multi‑disciplinary approach that defines our service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations and staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal quality frameworks.
• Support young people through highs and lows, fostering their personal development.
• Oversee referrals, admissions and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists and other clinical specialists to deliver integrated care.
• Lead safeguarding and safeguarding training for all staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential children’s care or a similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding legislation.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Commitment to delivering outcomes for young people with complex needs.

• Base salary £54,997 – £68,441 per annum.
• Annual bonus of 10% of salary, on‑call bonus (£2,500) and attendance allowance (£1,400).
