Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care (Startup)

About the role

We are an established home‑care provider expanding in Essex and need an experienced Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure safe, person‑centred care while driving growth and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the domiciliary care service.
• Conduct client consultations, assessments, care planning and onboarding of new service users.
• Ensure delivery of safe, person‑centred care that meets individual needs.
• Manage client feedback, concerns and complaints to continuously improve quality.
• Identify business development opportunities and build relationships with local stakeholders and referral partners.
• Recruit, develop and support care staff to create a high‑performing team.
• Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
• Monitor quality standards and implement continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in domiciliary or home‑care services.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance requirements and adult social‑care legislation.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding, person‑centred care.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, resilient and solutions‑focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
