Registered Manager – Home Care Services

About the role

Agincare is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a home‑care team in Worthing. You will be responsible for delivering safe, high‑quality care that meets CQC standards while supporting the wellbeing of vulnerable clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
• Develop and review personalised care plans, coordinating with health professionals, social workers and families.
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Recruit, induct, train, motivate and supervise staff, handling disciplinary matters as required.
• Manage staffing levels and contingency plans to guarantee uninterrupted care provision.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Management qualification at QCF Level 4 or willingness to attain it.
• QCF Level 4 or higher in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Previous experience registering or managing a home‑care service is preferred.
• Current knowledge of the care sector, regulatory framework and best practice.

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Effective communication with clients, families and multidisciplinary professionals.
