Registered Manager

About the role

As the Registered Manager of an Agincare care home, you will create a warm, safe and high‑quality environment where residents feel truly at home. You will lead a dedicated team, uphold the highest standards of care, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of care staff to deliver compassionate, person‑centred care.
• Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments and take corrective action where needed.
• Oversee resident care plans, ensuring they reflect individual needs, preferences and health status.
• Induct, train, supervise and support staff, managing performance and disciplinary matters.
• Liaise with health professionals, social workers and families to coordinate care.
• Monitor and report on operational and quality‑assurance KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Management qualification at QCF Level 4 (or willingness to achieve it).
• Previous registration in a residential service is preferred.
• Current knowledge of the care sector, including regulatory frameworks.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Experience working with vulnerable client groups.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week.

Required skills

• Understanding of CQC regulatory requirements.
• Ability to conduct audits and risk assessments.
