Registered Manager – Residential Care Service (Kent)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential care service for younger adults with learning disabilities in Kent. The role is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am‑5:00 pm, and involves day‑to‑day management of the service and its staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the residential care home, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care.
• Lead, support and develop the care team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain full compliance with CQC standards and all regulatory requirements.
• Manage staff rotas, scheduling and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with external agencies and families to support residents' wellbeing.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in adult social care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and physical or sensory disabilities.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Understanding of CQC compliance processes.
• Ability to manage a multidisciplinary care team.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
