Registered Nurse – Bank (Brentwood, Essex)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Brentwood Arches Care Home on a bank (temporary) basis. You will work within a supportive team, delivering high‑quality care to elderly residents and stepping in for the manager when required.

Key responsibilities

• Act as person in charge, covering managerial duties as needed.
• Administer medication, perform dressings, catheterisation, and tube feeding.
• Manage chronic medical conditions and maintain accurate care plans.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition to families and GPs.
• Supervise and deploy care staff to ensure all tasks are completed.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration with a First Level nursing qualification.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience in adult care.
• Post‑basic studies or additional qualifications related to care.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a care team.
