Registered Nurse – Bank

About the role

Prime Life is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the bank staff at Gilby House Nursing Home in Winterton. The role provides flexible, day or night shifts supporting 22 residents with learning disabilities and mental health needs. A current NMC registration is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately record nursing notes and maintain up‑to‑date care plans.
• Safely order, store, and administer medication in line with governance procedures.
• Conduct daily client assessments, identify needs and continuously improve care delivery.
• Lead handovers, collaborate with care staff and ensure clear communication during meetings.
• Uphold the NMC Code of Conduct and respect each client’s dignity and independence.
• Perform any reasonable duties assigned by the manager to meet service demands.

Required profile

• Valid NMC pin and post‑qualification experience in a clinical setting.
• Patient, understanding and respectful attitude towards residents’ individual abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, and respond to on‑call requirements.
• Genuine caring nature with a desire to make a positive impact on residents’ lives.
