About the role

Gold Care Homes is recruiting a Registered Nurse Bank for its new Broxbourne nursing home, which has 77 bedrooms and aims to bring joy, happiness and fulfilment to residents through high-quality care. The post is advertised as part-time and pays £25.50 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve a high standard of care and lead the care team to deliver outcomes for the people supported.
• Maintain effective verbal and written communication, reporting accurately on residents and informing the senior care team of day-to-day changes.
• Wound management and ensure care procedures follow policy.
• Order, administer and record medicines according to policy and statutory requirements.
• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting, and give physical, emotional and spiritual comfort.
• Carry out staff supervision and appraisals for the team or unit allocated.
• Implement agreed changes to routine and procedures, assess clients and complete the duty rota as needed.
• Carry out internal quality audits, take part in staff training and development, and assist the manager with budget work (mainly deputy manager duties).

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin number.
