Registered Nurse - Full Time

About the role

Kingston Care Home, part of Gold Care Homes, is a nursing home in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames offering 24-hour care and support for older adults. It is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin number to help deliver high-quality care and support the home's mission of bringing joy, happiness and fulfilment to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve a high standard of care and lead the care team to deliver outcomes for residents
• Maintain effective verbal and written communication, reporting accurately on residents and informing the senior care team of day-to-day changes
• Manage wounds and ensure care procedures follow policy
• Order, administer and record medicines according to policy and statutory requirements
• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting, and give physical, emotional and spiritual comfort
• Carry out staff supervision and appraisals, implement agreed changes to routine and procedures, and complete the duty rota
• Assess residents, carry out internal quality audits and take part in staff training and development
• Help the manager work within agreed budgets, mainly deputy manager responsibilities

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin number
• Full-time position; the employer cannot offer sponsorship
