Registered Nurse – Full‑time Inpatient Ward

About the role

A leading private healthcare provider in Crowborough is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its established inpatient ward team. The role involves delivering patient‑centred care within a close‑knit multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs.
• Collaborate with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
• Provide compassionate advice and support to patients and families.
• Mentor junior colleagues and act as a buddy for new staff.
• Undertake delegated duties and cover the Duty Nurse role when required.
• Participate in emergency response, incident and complaint management.
• Contribute to clinical audits, nursing research, care pathway development and service improvement.
• Support the development and implementation of clinical procedures and standards.
• Ensure effective and efficient use of resources and supplies.
• Engage in training, meetings and maintain mandatory training requirements.

Required profile

• UK‑recognised Registered Nursing qualification with current NMC registration.
• Previous clinical nursing experience; orthopaedic experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient‑focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continued professional development.
