Registered Nurse – General Practice (Onehunga & Mt Roskill)

About the role

The Doctors Medical Centres is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its general practice teams at Onehunga and Mt Roskill. This permanent, full‑time role involves delivering advanced nursing care within multidisciplinary primary‑care settings and contributing to community health improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care to patients in a general practice environment.
• Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals and practice leadership to support multidisciplinary care.
• Participate in health promotion, disease prevention and chronic‑condition management initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Assist with immunisations, smear taking and other primary‑care procedures as required.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand practising nursing certificate.
• NZ residency or a valid work permit.
• Experience in a medical centre or primary‑care setting (desirable).
• Alignment with the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
• Post‑graduate nursing qualifications or ongoing study (highly desirable).
• Current CPR certification (ideal).
• Computer literacy.
