About the role
This permanent position is for a Registered Nurse at Girvan Community Hospital, part of NHS Ayrshire & Arran. You will work a 24.48‑hour week across standard daytime hours, with flexibility for unsocial cover and the possibility of job‑share.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, efficient patient care in line with NHS standards.
- Support the Team Leader in managing the nursing team and developing staff.
- Participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Promote evidence‑based practice and act as a role model for professional standards.
- Adhere to the NMC Code and ensure compliance with quality assurance processes.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
