Registered Nurse – Night Shift – Accrington

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join a supportive nursing home team in Accrington. The role is full‑time on night shifts, focusing on delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Safely administer and manage medications.
• Keep care plans up‑to‑date and person‑centred.
• Conduct resident assessments and monitor wellbeing.
• Work in accordance with the NMC Code, promoting dignity, choice and independence.
• Participate in handovers and team meetings.
• Support the wider team as required by management.

Required profile

• Valid and active NMC PIN (RMN or RGN qualified).
• Previous experience working in a nursing home setting.
• Compassionate, reliable and professional approach.
• Commitment to improving residents' wellbeing and quality of life.

Required skills

• Medication administration.
• Care planning and documentation.
• Resident assessment.
• Adherence to the NMC Code of conduct.
