Registered Nurse (RGN) – Care Home (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This fixed‑term position covers maternity leave for a Registered Nurse in a Barchester care home. You will provide holistic care, addressing the physical, psychological and social needs of residents while ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tailored care plans for each resident.
• Administer medication safely and in accordance with best practice.
• Make critical clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing health conditions.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and uphold regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices.
• Experience creating comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, person‑centred approach to nursing.
