Registered Nurse (RGN) - Care Home

About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RGN) in a Barchester care home, you will look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents, creating a safe and supportive environment while using professional judgement for critical clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tailored care plans for each resident.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care across a range of physical and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical best practices.
• Experience creating comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, dedicated and focused on person‑centred care.
