Registered Veterinary Nurse – Reception & Client Experience

Key responsibilities

• Use clinical knowledge to triage, assess, prioritise and direct patients appropriately.
• Optimise appointment booking across multiple workstreams to support efficient workflow.
• Manage incoming chat queries, providing accurate and timely guidance to pet owners.
• Provide friendly, professional phone support to owners contacting the clinic.
• Assist with repeat prescription requests, medication dispensing and maintain pharmacy stock control.
• Handle non‑clinical administrative tasks such as insurance queries, case follow‑ups and debt management.
• Address day‑to‑day client concerns early to prevent escalation.
• Provide line‑management and leadership support to the client services team.
• Work on the reception rota, managing face‑to‑face, digital and telephone client interactions.

Required profile

• RVN qualified with a minimum of two years’ experience.
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
• A calm, compassionate problem‑solver.
• Enjoys working closely with clients and supporting clinical teams.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences.
