Regulatory Affairs Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Lead to join our fast‑growing fintech that provides end‑to‑end payment infrastructure. Based in London, you will act as the primary liaison with regulators and help embed compliance into our products and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and submit information responses, requests and regulatory reports to authorities.
• Monitor evolving regulatory guidance, assess its impact and translate requirements into actionable steps.
• Lead new licence applications and variations, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Operations and other functions to embed regulatory requirements into projects and processes.
• Educate internal stakeholders on industry standards and regulatory expectations to foster a strong compliance culture.

Required profile

• Previous regulatory experience within financial services, particularly payments and crypto assets.
• Proven track record of engaging directly with regulators and contributing to licence applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
• Proactive, reliable and collaborative with confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded and comfortable working cross‑functionally.

• Base salary £85,000‑£95,000 per year.
